How much will it cost to have my project edited and proofread?

Good question, especially in today's economy! And the answer is also your next step along the path to completing your project. Send me your information through my Contact page, I will give you a FREE, three-page, sample edit to determine the level your project requires, and we will work together to come to an agreement and proceed immediately.

Great, but how much will it cost?

As shown on my Services page, I charge by the page, rather than by the hour, so you know exactly how much you can expect to pay from the beginning. No surprises.

My price depends on the level of service your project requires. For example, proofreading may range from $2.00 to $4.00 per page, based on the standard 250-word, double-spaced page.

Basic editing and substantive editing will cost proportionately more depending on the depth of editing required. The better shape your project is in, the less it will cost you to bring it to a polished completion.

Formatting services, if needed, will be charged on a flat fee basis.

Can I expect a fast turnaround?

As the process is true for determining the cost of your project, it is also true for determining the timeline of completion. I can be more specific after I do the FREE sample edit. Then, depending on the level of service required and the length of your project, we can come to an efficient agreement. It is my goal to help you finish this project so that you can move forward toward completing your goal.
